Who We Work With

Kinfolk partners with organizations and leaders working to improve maternal and community health, including foundations and philanthropic organizations, government and public health agencies, healthcare organizations, health systems, community-based organizations, birth centers, midwifery organizations, Medicaid and managed care organizations, FQHCs and community health centers, advocacy organizations, universities and training programs, midwives, doulas, and other birth workers.

How We Work

Every engagement is different.

Some partners come to Kinfolk with a clearly defined project. Others know something needs to change but need help determining where to begin. We can support a specific phase of work—such as research, strategic planning, policy analysis, or technical assistance—or partner across the lifecycle of an initiative, from discovery and stakeholder engagement through strategy, implementation, and evaluation.

Tell us what you're trying to build, solve, or change. We'll help determine the path forward.

“ If you have come here to help me you are wasting your time, but if you have come because your liberation is bound up with mine, then let us work together”

— Lilla Watson
